Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Zakariyya Mansoor as the Chairman of Kadhdhoo Airport Company Limited (KACL).
Brigadier General (Rtd) Zakariyya Mansoor retired from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) after 37 years of service in 2021. He joined the military services on March 13, 1984, and served in various capacities in the MNDF. He served the longest in the Coast Guard as Director-General, Deputy Director-General, and as Commandant. He also worked to develop human resources in the MNDF and served as the Central Area Commander, Member of the training and evaluation committee, Chief Spokesperson of the MNDF, and Director General of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC).
Brigadier General Mansoor has received 10 medals and 11 badges during his military career for his contributions and accomplishments in the MNDF. He was also the first Managing Director of KACL.
