Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited the construction sites of the new building for the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) and Salahuddin School in Hulhumale'.
Vice President Naseem visited the CHSC building under construction in Hulhumale' Phase I and the Salahuddin School under construction in Hulhumale' Phase II. He was accompanied by Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali during the visit to inspect the progress of both schools.
The eight-storey building of CHSC is located behind the Outdoor Sports Complex and the six-storey building of Salahuddin School is being built near the Hiyaa Towers. Most of the construction work of the Salahuddin School building has been completed. The school will accommodate 1,000-1,200 students and is being built at a cost of USD7.6 million.
The Ministry of Education is working to open schools with the start of the new academic year in August.
