President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have departed on an official visit to the United Kingdom (UK).
The President's Office said President Solih and First Lady Fazna will attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, scheduled to be held on May 6. They will also attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and a reception with heads of state.
More than 2,000 guests will attend the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey. Charles was crowned King after the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September last year.
