SSC exams begin with over 6,000 students

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations have begun with over 6,000 students.

The SSC examinations began at 244 centres with 6,107 students. The examinations commenced with Islam Paper 1, which is a change from previous exams which began with Islam Paper 2. Students were also required to place wristwatches on the table while taking the exam, in accordance with the recommendations of the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).

The O’level examinations will commence on May 2 at 759 centres with 6,698 students and will conclude on June 8.
