Mosque to be built in Gaza with donations from Maldivians

International Aid Campaign (IAC) has decided to build a mosque with donations from Maldivians called Masjid al-Quddus in Gaza, Palestine.

IAC stated that the construction of a mosque in Gaza will begin in late April. IAC stated that the mosque will have a capacity of 1,100 worshippers and will be built on three floors. The first floor is reserved for women and will accommodate 310 worshippers, while the second floor will accommodate 390 worshippers and the lowest floor will accommodate 400 worshippers. The mosque is being built by a Gaza contractor and is estimated to be completed by the end of the year despite challenges.

IAC aims to raise awareness among Muslims on various issues, find ways to help and support Muslims in need, and generally support and help individuals who are suffering throughout the world.
