Chief Guide and First Lady Fazna Ahmed has participated in the Eid Project initiated and organised by the Young Leaders of the Maldives Girl Guide Association (MGGA).
The MGGA visited the special needs home in Guraidhoo in Kaafu Atoll, on the second day of Eid al-Fitr and provided them with gifts. This year marks the 24th consecutive year of their annual Eid Project.
First Lady Fazna joined them in celebrating Eid and spoke with some of the residents at the facility, inquiring about their affairs and well-being. She also exchanged Eid gifts with them and participated in several Eid games at the facility.
The MGGA has continued this one-day event uninterrupted in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, during which the event was held virtually. First Lady Fazna previously visited the special needs home and participated in the Eid Project in 2019, as well as the virtual events held in 2020 and 2021.
