The Maldives State Shipping Company Private Limited (MSS) has appointed Captain Mohamed Nazim to the post of Managing Director of the company.
MSS stated that Captain Nazim has been working for the company since its inception and is well-experienced for the post. He was the Executive Director and General Manager of MSS prior to his appointment to the post. He served as a second and third officer on the ships operated by Germany's Orlandorff Carriers, one of the world's largest bulk cargo companies, for six years. He has also served as a Chief Officer on ships at Willemson Holdings in the Netherlands and as an officer in the Anglo-Eastern line in Hong Kong for four years.
The post of Managing Director of MSS became vacant after Abdulla Saeed was appointed as Managing Director of STO on April 4.
