The Auditor General's Office (AGO) has found no irregularities in the expenditure of the President’s Office in 2021.
The audit report states that the financial statements in 2021 show that President’s Office utilised its allocated budget for the initiatives set in the budget in accordance with regulations during the fiscal year.
The President’s Office received a USD11.7 million budget in 2021, of which USD11.5 million was spent. The audit report reviewed the relevant financial statements and showed details of the expenses made by the President’s Office as well as the official residences of the president and vice president.
