HDC unveils new brand and mobile application

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has unveiled its new brand Urbanco and a mobile application on its 22nd anniversary.

HDC unveiled the new brand logo and mobile application to allow users to obtain easy access to its services. The Urbanco Application will also allow users to submit complaints and check on the status of the various projects, events, and bids as well as access services such as lease payment.

HDC stated that unveiled its new identity to head towards redefinition and build a world of better tomorrows for the people of Maldives. The company further stated that it is developing the whole nation by taking its knowledge across the islands and completely transforming the Maldives economy under its Beyond Hulhumale’ initiative.

HDC is a 100% state-owned company established by a presidential decree in 2001. HDC undertakes and manages the overall planning and building of the reclaimed land of Hulhumale’ and is working towards transforming Hulhumale’ to become the nation’s first sustainable venture. The company also operates industrial islands Thilafushi and Gulhifalhu in Kaafu Atoll.
