Integrated tourism project to begin in Dhihthundi

Kolhufushi Island Council has announced it is seeking companies interested in commencing an integrated tourism project in Dhihthundi, Meemu Atoll.

Dhihthundi is an island that spans 10.9 hectares that has been leased for various businesses. Kolhufushi council stated that it is now accepting proposals under an integrated tourism model. The chosen company will be required to design, develop, and operate the tourism business.

Additionally, foreign investors are allowed to submit their bids and the council will be accepting expressions of interest (EOI) until the end of April 10. An information session will be held on April 16 and the council will begin accepting bids on May 10.
