The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) has stated that various varieties of its products will be available without any difficulty throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
MIFCO has launched various types of tuna cans. As such, the company's oil tuna cans have always been in high demand among the public. MIFCO is currently selling a case of oil tuna at USD49.2 with one can selling for USD1.13.
MIFCO is working to supply tuna cans to Male' City as well as the islands. MIFCO also delivers tuna cans from boats upon receipt of orders. Apart from canned tuna, the next biggest demand during Ramadan is dried fish and frozen yellowfin tuna.
Additionally, the demand for some food items prepared for immediate use in the kitchen during Ramadan is also increasing. MIFCO said these items will also be available during Ramadan.
