The Ministry of Defence has opened the opportunity to apply for jobs in the Maldives National Defence (MNDF).
The defence ministry will accept applications from Maldivian citizens between 18-25 years of age who have passed the GCE O’Level or achieved an equivalent vocational certification. Applicants should also have the minimum required level of fitness.
Other requirements for applicants include not having a criminal record for the past five years, a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches for men and 5 feet 3 inches for women, and not being a member of a political party. Applicants will also receive points for their performance during the interview process and physical fitness examination, which includes push ups, sit ups, pull ups, running, swimming, and aptitude tests.
Interested individuals are required to submit their applications by April 16. Applications are available for download at the defence ministry’s website.
