The National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM) has commenced the Maldives Marine Expo 2023 with more than 150 exhibitors and 160 stalls.
The Maldives Marine Expo is a platform for the marine industry featuring products, offerings, programmes, and panel discussions on industry topics. The expo was officially opened by Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Aishath Nahula. The eighth edition of the expo is being held until March 18 at Hulhumale’ Central Park.
Speaking to the media, Event Manager Sham Mohamed has said that efforts are underway to include more new segments in the expo every year. As such, he said the expo has given special emphasis to the diving sector this year. He also said that special activities for children will be conducted and the expo will also feature seminars on various aspects of the marine industry.
The main objective of the expo is to provide a one-stop market for all stakeholders in the boating industry in the Maldives.
