HDC contracts to develop restaurants for Urban Boulevard project

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has signed agreements with six businesses to develop cafes and restaurants as part of the Urban Boulevard development project to develop the area where both phases of Hulhumale' connect.

As part of the Urban Boulevard development project, HDC signed agreements with well-known and experienced businesses. They include Brothers Catering, RefCool, Celsius Private Limited, Misraabu Private Limited, Dinemore Restaurant, and Dreams Private limited.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chief Financial Officer of HDC Ahmed Shaam said the restaurants and cafes in Urban Boulevard will be developed to accommodate individuals with disabilities. He said the purpose is to create a comfortable and appropriate environment for such individuals. In addition, he said Hulhumale' Phase II will accommodate a large population and social development opportunities will be given high priority.

A team from HDC is working in line with public opinion to implement the developmental plans for Hulhumale'. HDC said the Urban Boulevard project will become a symbol of development in Hulhumale' and create a strong society. HDC also said the project will become a one-stop area for many services and a popular spot for visitors to spend time with family and friends.

HDC said the area will be developed with a children’s park, outdoor gymnasium, and many other facilities in addition to restaurants and cafes. HDC also said the outlets will offer a wide variety of fusion-style foods. The cafes are designed to be environmentally friendly and maintain the beauty of Urban Boulevard.
