RDC contracted to lay asphalt in Manadhoo

The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has contracted Road Development Corporation (RDC) to lay asphalt on the roads of Manadhoo, Noonu Atoll. The agreement was signed by the Permanent Secretary Zeenya Ahmed Hameed and the General Manager of RDC Ahmed Shahid.

The scope of the project includes asphalt laying on 4.2km of road, installation of a drainage system, and installation of street lights. The project was contracted to RDC at a price of USD4.9 million and is tasked to be completed within one year and five months.

RDC is currently conducting road development projects in 17 islands. RDC is also working on the modernisation of Ameenee Magu, one of the main roads connecting all the wards of the capital Male' City.
