State Trading Organisation (STO) is offering scholarships for women interested in working in the technical field.
STO stated that it will be offering scholarships with guaranteed career opportunities to 15 candidates. The state-owned company is offering scholarships to achieve certificates in various technical fields within a duration of 4-12 months. Interested individuals are required to submit their application by March 31.
Candidates who have achieved two GCE O'Level passes or Certificate-3 in a related field will be able to enroll in an Advanced Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme. They will receive a position as Elevator Technician upon conclusion of the programme.
Additionally, candidates who have achieved two GCE O'Level passes or Certificate-3 in a related field will be able to enroll in an Advanced Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning programme. They will receive a position as Service Support Technicians upon the conclusion of the programme.
Meanwhile, candidates who have achieved a basic education will be able to enroll in a Certificate-3 in Electronics programme. They will receive a position as product specialists upon conclusion of the programme.
