PSM provides opportunity to join election coverage team

Public Service Media (PSM) is providing the opportunity for interested individuals to join its team to cover the upcoming presidential election.

As such, PSM will be accepting applications for individuals interested in working as a stringer (monitor) at the polling stations across the country during the election. PSM will be accepting applications until the end of March 31, and selected candidates will be paid a remuneration of USD32 for each day of the election. Applicants are required to have completed the GCE O’level studies or a broadcasting journalism course and should have been employed in the broadcasting sector for at least one year.

Stringers will be required to provide material on the activities at polling stations, the results, and other news related to the presidential election. Those hired to be stringers will be required to have possession of a smartphone.
