Extension building to be constructed for Maduvvaru Health Clinic

Ministry of Health has contracted Rizer Private Limited to construct an extension building for the health clinic in Maduvvari, Meemu Atoll.

Rizer is tasked with constructing the extension building and a boundary wall within 145 days at a cost of USD316,000. Maduvvari Health Clinic stated the extension building will be used to keep medical consumables and be used as a medical storage area. It will also consist of an administrative office, public health unit, and an ambulance garage.

The health clinic also stated that it currently uses a mobile laboratory and has increased its service hours from eight to 16 hours.
