Managing Director of STO Hussain Amru has said the additional paths to sell local products abroad have been facilitated via the Gulfood Expo.
Speaking about the Gulfood Expo, Amru said that participation in such expos is very important for the Maldivian economy to enter international trade. He said the Gulf Expo has provided a way to sell local products abroad.
STO participated in the Gulfood Expo and showcased its Choice brand products and fish products of Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO)
Key suppliers and brands from across the F&B space convened in Dubai, UAE, for the 28th edition of the Gulfood exhibition, from February 20 to 24. The event was participated by 5000 companies from 125 countries, unveiling new business opportunities and providing solutions to new and evolving global challenges.
Gulfood is the world's largest annual food, beverage and hospitality exhibition which attracts F&B professionals from all over the world to Dubai.
