Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has held a Supervisors Forum for site supervisors of projects in different parts of the country.
The one-day forum was attended by Construction and Dredging Division and Human Resources (HR) of MTCC. The forum was attended by 88 site supervisors including project site supervisors, project team and heads of construction and dredging divisions from different parts of the Maldives. Site supervisors are the most senior personnel involved in the implementation of projects. It is the second such forum targeting the supervisors of the Construction and Dredging Division.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTCC Adam Azim handed over the certificates to the participants at the closing ceremony. Awareness sessions were conducted on the implementation of the projects for the participants of the forum. During these sessions, Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam and CEO Azim addressed the participants and shared important information on the implementation of the projects.
MTCC said the forum has educated the participants on improving the quality of ongoing projects, speeding up the projects required by the government, reducing costs and completing projects within the stipulated time frame. The forum also highlighted ways to further strengthen the relationship between MTCC and the people and the importance of delivering the company's social responsibility (CSR) activities to the people in the most comprehensive manner. Important information was shared with the forum participants on the health and safety standards to be maintained by the employees and the public.
