Salary of IASL employees to be increased

Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) has stated that the salary of its employees will be increased in March, and the benefits suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic will be re-instituted.

Speaking at the annual staff night event, Managing Director Mohamed Mihad said the salary increase will allow employees to put away more funds for their pension. He said these changes are being made to retain a talented and capable workforce. He added that the fuel charge will also be removed from employee tickets. IASL has also decided to add more benefits as well as re-institute the benefits received from tickets provided to employees.

At the staff night event, long-serving employees were given awards and senior officials of IASL expressed their appreciation for the staff for their diligent work at Maldivian, the flag carrier of the Maldives.
