Ihya Forum is a tradition that has been followed by every Maldivian administration which has come to power since then.
Speaking to PSM News, Minister Zahir said the forum will be held at 2100hrs on Monday and Friday nights similar to every year. The minister stated Ihya Forum will be held in three cities and populous islands including Dhidhdhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll, Dhuvaafaru in Raa Atoll, and Gan in Laamu Atoll. He said the forum will be conducted with the participation of religious scholars and high school students this year. He revealed students will give information after preparations and scholars will be given the opportunity to answer if anyone wants to ask a question after the presentation.
Every year during the month of Ramadan, the Ihya Forum is attended by qualified scholars in the Maldives to provide religious information to the people. The ministry is also working to bring scholars from other countries this year.
