Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the lease of units for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for the provision to open retail stores at Vinares housing towers developed in Hulhumale'.
HDC has opened the units located on the first floor of three towers; V2, V5, and V7 for SMEs and a ground floor unit of V7. The first floor of V2 has an area of 892.44sqft and V5 has 596.54sqft. Meanwhile, the first floor of V7 has 755.95sqft and the ground floor has 295.36sqft.
HDC said the units will be rented out at a price of USD1.29 per sqft per month for the first year. However, the lessee has the option to negotiate the rental price up to the fifth year after the first year. HDC revealed the opportunity to submit proposals for the units is open until March 7 and has set the bid security for these units at USD324.
The Vinares housing project involves the construction of 10 towers with 1,344 housing units, all of which are three-room apartments. The project aims to resolve some of the housing difficulties faced in the Greater Male’ Region. The housing units have been developed under four main categories, which include inner view, outer view, marina view, and standard view apartments. The sizes of the flats range between 883sqft to 1,395sqft.
