Maldives Police Service (MPS) has assured that forensic evidence will not be leaked. MPS made the statement in response to a claim that an individual’s private photos were leaked by the police.
MPS stated that it handles evidence in accordance with international best practices, which prevents the leak of evidence. It assured that evidence under its custody will not be leaked.
MSP also stated that forensic work is conducted in a way that safeguards privacy.
