The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to dismiss the investigation of the disciplinary case of the Chief Magistrate of the Guraidhoo Magistrate Court Fathuhulla Jameel Moosa.
JSC began investigating Chief Magistrate Moosa for his negligence in proceeding with a sentencing hearing in accordance with criminal procedures and other relevant regulations. However, the JSC stated the case has been dismissed on January 29.
In a statement, JSC said documents and the statement of Chief Magistrate Fathullah showed he did not act in violation of the Criminal Procedure Code.
