Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has launched the Savaaree Information Management System (SIMS) Customer Portal.
The ministry stated that users can view their land vehicle driving license digitally in the first phase of the software’s roll-out by logging in via the SIMS Customer Portal at sims.transport.gov.mv using their eFaas account. The portal will have various information on the license as well as license applications and the latest update on forms being processed.
At the SIMS Customer Portal launching ceremony, Minister Aishath Nahula said digital driving licenses were introduced for the first phase of the SIMS roll-out and that more services will be digitalised in the future. She added that digital driving licenses can also be viewed through the Maldives Police Service (MPS) portal.
