Students urged to become law abiding individuals

Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali has urged students to learn to the laws relevant to their age. She made the remark at the closing ceremony of the 95th Teenagers’ Camp at Huravee School.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Aishath said the Teenagers’ Camp has a noble goal of teaching valuable lessons to students and advised them to implement the teachings and values. She urged students to learn and abide by the laws relevant to their age, as it is important for their well-being and safety. She also advised students to listen to their parents and teachers.

Additionally, Minister Aishath highlighted the lessons taught on cyber-security and using the internet safely. She expressed hope the camp will result in students become valued citizens that contribute to the nation. She also noted that the teachers that participated in the camp showed their dedication and perseverance in working for the development of students.

A total of 93 students participated at the Teenagers’ Camp at Huravee School. The camp focused on teaching living values including leadership and decision-making, time management, teamwork skills, cyber-security, personal safety and self-defence.
