Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has launched a mobile application to provide information and the latest updates on Kudagiri Picnic Island. The application is available for download from the App Store and Play Store.
The government decided to officially open Kudagiri on February 11. To prepare for the launch, HDC has introduced a special application for Kudagiri. HDC said that by downloading the mobile application, you can view the latest information and services related to the island.
In addition, HDC said the application is designed to make services provided in Kudagiri as easy as possible for the public. Although the application is not yet open for bookings, registration will provide a lot of information about the island, including booking prices and rules and regulations. HDC also said that notifications will be received when the application is opened for bookings.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih pledged to develop a picnic island that will be more complete. To fulfill this promise, the work of dredging the Kudagiri lagoon near Male' City began in November 2021. A year into the project, the lagoon had been turned into a pleasant area for recreation.
