Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has published the final list of recipients of the Vinares flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
The final list was published after HDC evaluated complaints regarding the temporary list published in November last year. HDC stated the final list does not include tenants who received flats from Hiyaa housing, Gulhifalhu flats, and the Sealife housing
project. It also stated that the individuals in the list will have to move forward if their names are included in separate forms as a main-applicant and co-applicant. It further stated that married couples will receive one apartment even if they had applied separately.
HDC will be gathering the relevant information to determine the financial situation of the recipients prior to accepting booking fees. The company stated that it will use a third-party to evaluate the financial situation of recipients who have agreed to pay for the flats using a lease-to-own or full payment model.
The Vinares housing project consists of 10 towers with 1,344 housing units, all of which are three-room apartments. The Vinares flats are developed in four concepts: 172 marina view flats, 372 outer view flats, 352 inner view flats, and 448 standard view flats. The marina view apartments have a view of the yacht marina and cruise terminal, while inner view apartments have a view of the main roads. The outside view is of the city, and standard apartments are in the middle of the towers. The price of the apartments range from USD162,000-USD198,000.
