Allied Insurance donates 100 helmets to MPS

Allied Insurance Company has donated 100 helmets to Maldives Police Service (MPS) for the Rakka Road Safety programme.

The Rakka Road Safety Programme is being conducted in collaboration between Allied Insurance and Maldives Police Service (MPS). During the programme, police officers will conduct activities across the Maldives to increase public awareness on road safety.

General Manager of Allied Insurance Ibrahim Firshan donated the helmets to Chief Inspector of Police Ahmed Faseeh at a special ceremony. General Manager Firshan said Allied Insurance donated the helmets to encourage drivers to adhere to proper road safety through the road safety programme.

Also at the ceremony, Chief Inspector Faseeh said that the awareness activities will be focused on high-population density regions, including Addu City and Kulhudhuffushi City. He said that MPS plans to conduct activities in Haa Dhaalu Atoll including Kulhudhuffushi, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll before the month of Ramadan.

During the ceremony, Allied Insurance launched the Comprehensive Motor Insurance Policy, which will be used to give out 140 helmets.
