Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla has stated that peace and security is needed to build a successful society.
At the closing ceremony of the Traffic Monitors Programme, Minister Imran said that the completion of the programme is part of the journey of each student towards success. The closing ceremony was joined by Head of Road Police Chief Superintendent of Police Mohamed Daood and other senior police officers.
The Traffic Monitors Programme was conducted from January 21-25 for students of Thaajuddeen School, Ghiyasuddin International School, and Ghaazee School. During the programme, students were provided information on traffic regulations and road safety as well as proper adequate and communication when in interacting with people in public.
Additionally, students were involved in road traffic monitoring during the programme, which was held separately at the different schools. The programme included 36 students from Thaajuddeen school, 34 students from Ghiyasuddin International School, and 34 students from Ghaazee School.
