The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed two members to the board of Public Service Media (PSM) .
PCB appointed Ali Khalid as the Managing Director of PSM for a second term. President of PCB Asim Mohamed handed over the appointment letter to Ali Khalid at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, PCB appointed Ibrahim Hilmy as the Chairman of PSM for a second term.
During the ceremony, PCB shared the findings of the financial and governance reviews conducted by PSM and directed the company to pay special attention to the current issues encountered in its operations. Khalid has given full assurance that he will resolve the issues raised by PCB.
Mohamed Shameem, who was the former Deputy Managing Director of PSM, has been appointed as the Under Secretary at the President's Office when his term at PSM expired in December 2022 leaving the position vacant.
