During the visit, President Solih will meet with Prime Minister Hun Sen and hold official talks on strengthening bilateral cooperation, followed by the exchange of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between the two countries. President Solih and Prime Minister Hun Sen will also deliver a joint statement on the outcomes of their discussions.

Prime Minister Hun Sen has been in office since 1985, making him the longest-serving prime minister in Cambodian history. He is also the first Cambodian prime minister to make an official visit to the Maldives.
