MIRA employees give generous help to children at Fiyavathi

Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has donated USD3,653 worth of essential items to children living in Fiyavathi State Care Facility in Hulhumalé.

The donation is part of the Corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities conducted by the staff of MIRA every year. The staff of MIRA conducted an event for the children in Fiyavathi. Deputy Commissioner General of Taxation Asma Shafeeu, employees from MIRA, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Fiyavathi Zeena Gasim, and employees from Fiyavathi attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Asma Shafeeu noted the importance given by employees of MIRA to such activities. She said that these activities are funded by the employees from their own pockets. She also thanked the employees for their efforts and hard work.

Meanwhile, Zeena Gasim thanked the employees of MIRA for their continued support of Fiyavathi every year. She also presented MIRA with a special gift made by the children at the orphanage.

In addition to planning and conducting social activities every year, MIRA is also participating in such activities planned by other parties.
