President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have received a warm welcome from Alifushi, Raa Atoll.
During the official two-day visit to Alifushi, President Solih and First Lady Fazna will attend the official function to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities for 2022. During the visit, the president will meet with the members of the Raa Atoll Council, Alifushi Island Council, and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC).
Furthermore, President Solih and First Lady Fazna will inaugurate the new multi-purpose hall built at Alifushi School. The first lady will also attend a community festival organised by the island council. A senior delegation of the government is accompanying the president on the visit.
