The information of those who have been fined has been obtained through the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) and the information of those who have not paid the fine will be submitted to the court.

Furthermore, AGO stated that some individuals are not paying the fines imposed on them in accordance with the sentence. PGO noted that such individuals will be sentenced to imprisonment or a heavier punishment than a fine. MIRA also stated that the government has not received USD220 million in taxes and USD140 million in penalties. Therefore, those who have not paid the penalty should pay it as soon as possible or enter into a tax payment agreement with MIRA.
