Ilm Institute begins Arabic language programme for children

ILM Institute for Islamic Studies has started a special programme to teach the Arabic language to children.

ILM institute said it is an initiative to increase the importance given to the Arabic language in Maldivian society and to teach the Arabic language to students. The entire programme is designed in phases within an internationally renowned curriculum. The programme will be taught entirely in the Arabic language.

The institute revealed by the end of the entire Arabic language teaching programme, the skills needed to communicate in Arabic and understand Arabic written materials will be taught. Students who wish to take the O' Level examination in the Arabic language will have the option to take the examination and achieve high results, expressed ILM institute.

The Arabic language teaching programme is aimed at students between the ages of 7-16 years. Students who turn 16 while studying in the programme will be offered the opportunity to transfer to Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) Arabic courses.

Classes are scheduled to be held five days a week in two sessions. The fee for the Arabic language programme is USD50 per month. The opportunity to participate in the programme is now open.
