Maldives Hospitality and Tourism Studies (FHTS) has decided to hold a fair named Arutha to raise awareness about the opportunities available to youth in the field of tourism.
The fair will be held on November 25 at the Manhattan Business Hotel in Male' City. The Maldivian tourism industry and tourism-related service providers will also participate in the fair.
The fair is organised by the students from FHTS to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the tourism industry in the Maldives. The fair will showcase the development of tourism in the country and some cultural activities will also be held during the fair.
In addition to the fair, FHTS is also preparing to hold a walk called Jubilee Walk to share information about tourism with students. The walk will be held in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism from 1600-1800hrs on November 19.
