BCC receives over 60 applications for SME Hub 16 kiosks

The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has announced that the food kiosks at small and medium enterprises (SME) Hub are receiving good responses from the public.

BCC stated that over 60 individuals have applied for the 16 kiosks. It said that applications are being submitted from Male' City and atolls in the Maldives. It also stated that the hub, along with food businesses, is scheduled to open in November.

BCC stated that the three-floor commercial hub is being developed as a mall. It stated the hub will offer kiosks to all local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to promote their services and sell their products. It will also develop the hub for the SME community and plans to feature all business categories in the MSME sector.

Furthermore, the SME Hub will allow businesses to market and sell their products at the kiosks and allow businesses to sell their products in its trial phase with minimal cost and eliminates the economic risk of new businesses renting their own spaces.
