Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla has welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia.
The delegation from Saudi Arabia was led by Major General Nasser Othman Alnasser. The delegation consisted of nine members which discussed further strengthening of bilateral relations of both countries, assistance in internal security matters, and various areas where assistance could be provided. In addition to meeting with Minister Imran, the delegation will also meet with senior officials of the Maldives Police Service (MPS) and the Maldives Correctional Service (MCS).
Home Minister Imran visited Saudi Arabia in March 2022 at the invitation of Minister of Interior Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud.
