Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that delayed housing projects undertaken by private parties will be completed and handed over within the next three months.
Speaking to the media regarding projects, Managing Director of HDC Ahmed Athif said the deadline for the completion of most of the incomplete projects is December. Currently, four projects are undertaken by private parties which are Aqua Vita Residence, K. Park Residence, The Gardens Residence, and Aira Condominium Project. Ongoing is the finishing works of the housing projects, as per HDC.
HDC said 95% of the 129-apartment Aqua Vita Residences is complete. HDC has extended the deadline for the completion of the project four times. HDC said 90% of The Gardens Residence is complete and the deadline for the 73-apartment project was extended four times. Meanwhile, 92% of the Aira condominium is completed while HDC has extended the deadline five times for the completion of the 94-housing unit project. Furthermore, HDC extended the deadline to complete the K. Park Residence project consisting of 110 apartments five times while 77% of the project is complete.
