PSM to broadcast FIFA World Cup 2022

Public Service Media (PSM) has decided to broadcast FIFA World Cup 2022 live in Qatar.

Managing Director of PSM Ali Khalid signed the agreement with Medianet Private Limited to broadcast the matches of the tournament. Under the agreement, PSM will broadcast the World Cup matches on its sports channel YesTV.

Viacom 18 has taken over the regional broadcasting rights of the World Cup. Along with PSM, the matches will also be broadcast on Raajje TV and Ice+.

The World Cup considered to be the biggest festival in the world of football will start with the first match with the hosts of the tournament Qatar and Ecuador on November 20. The tournament will run until December 18 with 32 countries competing.

The tournament has been broadcasted by PSM since 1986.
