First Lady Fazna Ahmed has travelled to Fuvahmulah City to participate in the festivities of International Older Persons Day.
The President's Office said First Lady Fazna is scheduled to participate in various activities organised to celebrate the day. The activities are organised jointly by the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services, the Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO), the Maldives Police Service (MPS), and the Fuvahmulah City Council.
The theme for the United Nations International Day of Older Persons in 2022 is the Resilience of Older Persons in a Changing World. First Lady Fazna is scheduled to conclude her visit and return to Male' on October 15.
