Dhiraagu celebrates 34th anniversary

Dhiraagu, the first Maldivian telecommunications company, has celebrated its 34th anniversary.

Dhiraagu is celebrating 34 years of service with new offers for their Dhiraagu Prepaid and Postpaid customers, which include receiving a 125GB add-on for USD8 which will be valid for five days from activation. Amilla Postpaid customers can also receive double the daily refreshing data with the anniversary Salhi Daily Data offers, at the same prices. Additionally, customers can receive 2GB daily for the Salhi 90 plan, 4GB daily for the Salhi 150 plan, and 6GB daily for the Salhi 210 plan. The offer is valid until the end of October.

Dhiraagu stated customers can conveniently add the limited-time anniversary offers through the Dhiraagu App. The company has also launched a special lucky draw across their social media pages in which seven winners stand the chance to receive a pair of Aukey True Wireless Earbuds. Customers can participate by posting a comment on the company’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter page, stating how Dhiraagu has positively impacted their lives.

Since its establishment in 1988, Dhiraagu has continuously offered the latest telecommunications services and made huge contributions to the technological development in the Maldives. Dhiraagu achieved its milestone of establishing telephone services in all inhabited islands in its first 10 years and has connected the island communities with a fibre optic submarine cable spanning 1,253km. The company also gave its full support to the government’s initiative to provide cheaper internet services.
