E-Tukuri to sell Maldivian products in global market

Maldives Post Limited has decided to use the e-Tukuri shopping platform to sell Maldivian products in the global market. Managing Director Adam Mohamed made the announcement at the ceremony held to inaugurate a PikPost station in Hulhumale’.

The sixth PikPost station was opened at the Teak Building in Amin Avenue by Parliamentarian Ali Niyaz. PikPost is a delivery service introduced to provide a quick, secure and reliable way of delivering packages that allow customers to collect the packages 24hrs throughout the week through self-serving stations.

At the inauguration ceremony, Managing Director Adam said opening the new PikPost is part of efforts to expand the service and, as such, Maldives Post will also be opening a PikPost and post office in Hulhumale’ Phase II. He also highlighted Maldives Post’s initiative to assist businesses by allowing them to market their products in the global market using the e-Tukuri platform by the end of the year.

Maldives Post established e-Tukri as an e-commerce platform that provides the opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to showcase, market, sell and distribute their products using the postal network of the company.
