Road Development Corporation (RDC) has signed an agreement with the Housing Development Corporation Limited (HDC) to modernise Beach Boulevard in Hulhumale' Phase I and develop a park near Hiyaa Towers in Hulhumale' Phase II.
The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of RDC Moosa Ali Manik and Managing Director of HDC Ahmed Athif. The scope of the project includes a garden area, elevated pathway, and plaza as part of the park development near Hiyaa Towers, and the modernisation of Beach Boulevard will include the installation of pathways, ramps, and lights. The project is to be completed in one year.
HDC said it is making efforts to get the opinion of the public when conducting development projects in Hulhumale'. As such, the state-owned enterprise has already developed parks in various areas in Phase I and has installed benches in the beach area of Phase II.
