MPL launches new digital services

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has introduced new digital services as part of its digital transformation campaign. MPL introduced its staff mobile application, job portal, and auction portal at the ceremony held to celebrate its 36th anniversary.

The MPL job portal allows job seekers to conveniently search and apply for any available job at the company and check the status of the application. The staff mobile application allows employees to check various details related to the staff profile, attendance, salary slip, and the status of any requested leave. The auction portal can be used to check upcoming auctions, bid submissions, live updates, and request help and support.

At the ceremony, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih conferred Long Service Awards to 12 staff of MPL. He also gave a speech highlighting the importance of sea trade to a sea-faring nation like the Maldives and spoke about the port relocation project to Gulhifalhu and the upcoming bulk port to be established at Thilafushi.

Chairman of MPL Captain Mohamed Shareef wrapped up the event after expressing his gratitude towards the people who make the company operational despite the challenges they face daily.

MPL’s digital transformation campaign aims to improve its administrative work and services and, as part of the initiative, began using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to make their work more efficient.
