Ministry of Education has contracted a local company to develop an eight-classroom building in Ungoofaaru School in Raa Atoll.
The project was awarded to Nexstar Maldives Private Limited. The contract for the project was signed by Senior Policy Director at the Ministry of Education Naushad Ibrahim, and Managing Director of Nexstar Maldives Mohamed Naaih Najeeb.
The project was contracted to Nexstar Maldives at a price of USD652,000, which was allocated in the 2021 Public Sector Investor Programme (PSIP). The project is expected to be completed within one year.
