ACC implements forensic service, monitoring and evaluation policies

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) begins implementation of new policies on forensic service and monitoring and evaluation.

The members of the commission held a meeting with the employees of the commission to provide detailed information on the changes to be made to the work of the various departments. Letters of employment were also presented to the heads of the new departments formed in accordance with the new policies.

At the meeting, Vice President of ACC Abdul Salaam inaugurated the new forensic service. The newly formed investigation section is tasked with completing the investigatory work on the cases filed at ACC and the cases concluded by the members. The section will also formulate the investigation reports and submit them to meetings held by the members. The monitoring and evaluation section is tasked with overseeing and keeping records of the progress of cases, investigations and assessments, and the implementation of the instructions and recommendations given out by the commission.

During the meeting, the members said the implementation of the new policies is a historic moment for ACC, as it will allow the commission to better fulfill its duties. They also assured that the commission will be further improved with additional resources.
