AVSECOM officers to train in India

Officers from the Aviation Security Command (AVSECOM) are scheduled to leave for India on a work experience and a training trip.

AVSECOM revealed the visit will be funded and arranged by the Government of India to assist in further strengthening the relations between the two countries. The participants are scheduled to leave on September 18 for the five-day training. It is the first of its kind training offered by the Indian government for AVSECOM officers with more such programmes to be conducted in the future.

India has been conducting work experience opportunities and training programmes in various fields. Similar training programmes have been conducted for journalists and civil servants.
